It involves our close liaison with your GP, for the issue, collection and dispensing of batches of prescriptions submitted in one go but for periodic dispensing for long-term use without your visits or requests to the surgery. Smoking Cessation Trained accredited staff provide counselling and nicotine replacement therapy to individuals, who are keen to stop smoking. It involves not just one interview but sustained support over a six-week period.
